Transcription: The slow moving koala is one of Australia's unique animals and possibly the most loved. They can be found in the eucalypt forests of eastern Australia. The female koala carries its young inner pouch for the first six months and then on her back for a longer period. The koala is now a protected species but once was hunted for its coat. Its numbers have also been reduced by disease, feral animals and habitat destruction. Thank you.
